GrokBot ran my marketing for 7 days: six agents, two live sites, and the numbers

The short answer

When six GrokBot agents ran marketing on my live sites for seven days, NorthSignal went to 462 visitors in a week against almost nothing the week before, referring domains rose from 427 to 472, and domain rating climbed eight points. A directory site the agents built for about $20 was driving over 85 organic visits within 48 hours. I cannot yet say which agent caused the lift, and there is no revenue to report.

I gave six AI agents full control of the marketing for two websites I rely on for business, including this one, and left them alone for seven days. Setup took about 15 minutes inside GrokBot. Here is what the agents did, what the numbers say, and the part I still cannot explain.

The video walks through the six-agent GrokBot setup and the seven-day traffic numbers from both sites.

What does a six-agent GrokBot marketing team look like?

I have run as many as 20 Hermes agents on one business and as few as two. More than ten burns tokens and loses the thread. Six works for me right now.

  • A COO, named Rob after a mentor, who is my only point of contact and routes work to everyone else.
  • An SEO and AEO agent, which I think is the most underrated seat on the team.
  • A coding agent that already knows what I have built and ships landing pages when the SEO agent asks for them.
  • An office manager for email, Slack, calendar, and meeting recordings.
  • A Notion agent that keeps the shared library current so nothing runs on stale context.
  • A marketing agent that handles positioning and CRO off the same shared data.

The habit that matters most is talking to Rob and nobody else. The moment I message an individual agent, I become the middleware again and crosstalk starts. I tell Rob what I want. Rob talks to the team and reports back.

How do the agents keep working when I am not watching?

They do not, unless you tell them to. The first thing I set up was proactive loops. Every day the SEO and AEO agent checks Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Zero Rank for AI visibility. The instruction is plain: if performance is down and you are not finding ways to improve it, that is a problem.

Rob runs on three or four cron jobs. Each one fires like an alarm clock and makes him check that the agents are reading the data warehouse and that nothing has dipped. A one-day dip triggers an investigation by default. If an agent sees a fix, it acts on it.

It is also why six agents on a $200 to $300 a month max plan is sustainable and twelve is not. Idle agents still spend tokens.

What happened to NorthSignal traffic in seven days?

NorthSignal is a domain about a month and a half old. After one week with the agents running, Ahrefs shows a health score of 99. Domain rating is up eight points in the week. Referring domains went from 427 to 472, a gain of 53. Total visitors came in at 462 against almost nothing the week before.

Here is the part I have to admit. I do not know which lever moved. I am not being cited in AI answers yet, so I doubt it is the AEO work. My best guess is that the SEO agent set the site up to be indexed fast and start ranking, but the jump in referring domains or the marketing agent’s positioning could be doing it. I am still digging, and I would rather say so than invent a story.

What did the directory stress test show?

The second site was built to push the agents harder. It is a directory aimed at one niche vertical of local near me searches, where the whole model is outranking competitors. The agents scraped competitor sites, read customer sentiment, worked out the pain points, and engineered the site in about 24 hours. It cost me around $20, has more than 130 URLs, and carries a 99 health score in Ahrefs.

Within 48 hours it was driving over 85 organic visits from unique visitors. Bounce rate was 36 percent. Visitors averaged seven pages per visit and stayed over 20 minutes. The site is not pretty, and I have not had the agents clean up the AI slop yet. The engagement numbers are still better than most finished sites I have worked on.

What it does not prove is revenue. I have not made a dollar from it. It is under 100 visitors, too early for statistical significance, and a proof of concept rather than a victory lap.

Why is memory the part that actually matters?

Pointing an AI at Obsidian or Notion is a start. I paid for a community that promised an Obsidian brain would fix my Hermes and GrokBot results. It did not. What changed my results was a structured data warehouse and real data pipelines.

With that in place, the SEO agent remembers what it did yesterday, reads yesterday’s numbers, pulls the competitive research we stored, and makes a decision. It then writes updated data back so the marketing agent can use it for positioning or CRO. The agents communicate through a shared source of truth instead of through me.

The intern test

Most people run AI like an intern who shows up every morning with amnesia. New chat, new context, same explanation. No matter how smart the intern is, nothing compounds. Give the agent memory and a manager, and you get the intern who improves every day.

What would I keep running, and where should you start?

I am keeping the six-agent roster, the daily data checks, and the rule that I only talk to Rob. I am adding agents slowly, if at all. Each week I spend a little less on AI and a little more time finding clients, which is the trade I wanted.

If you are starting, keep it small. Pick GrokBot, and if you want two more tools, Claude and ChatGPT. Spend no more than 20 to 30 minutes on setup, and put one line in the first prompt: always find ways to improve things and save me time. Then let the team figure it out.

If you want an agent team like this built on your firm’s real data, with attribution answered up front, I would be glad to walk through it.

  • Each day the agents check Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Zero Rank for real data, and three to four cron jobs on the COO trigger an automatic investigation whenever performance dips for a single day.
  • After seven days NorthSignal showed an Ahrefs health score of 99, referring domains up 53 from 427 to 472, and 462 weekly visitors, while the directory site hit over 85 organic visits within 48 hours with a 36 percent bounce rate and sessions over 20 minutes.
