A practical starting point for AI-enabled growth

Find the growth opportunity worth building around.

Most companies do not need more AI ideas. They need to know which workflow could create the most valuable and realistic leverage.

In a 30-minute Growth Audit, we look at your growth motion, operating constraints, customer economics, and current workflow bottlenecks to identify the strongest place to start.

Who takes the call

Thanks for taking the time to look around. I’m glad you’re here.

You talk to me, not a sales rep. The person on the call is the person who would build your system. No deck, and no pressure either way.

Jake Bauman, founder

You do not need perfect data. A clear business problem is enough to start.

Tell us where growth is getting stuck.

A few details will help us make the conversation useful. You do not need a complete AI strategy or a polished business case.

Use public or high-level context only. Please do not paste confidential customer data.

Jake reads your public site before the call.

What is becoming more expensive, slower, harder to manage, or too dependent on one person. One or two sentences.

CRM, email, analytics, spreadsheets. Rough is fine.

Optional. It helps us aim the thirty minutes.

No pitch deck required. The first conversation is about finding the highest-leverage opportunity and determining whether NorthSignal can help.

One useful answer before a larger engagement.

The Growth Audit is designed to help you make a better decision, not pressure you into a project.

We will identify the opportunity with the strongest combination of business value, urgency, feasibility, and team adoption.

If NorthSignal is the right partner, we will explain what the next step could look like. If it is not, we will tell you that directly.

What you will leave with

One prioritized opportunity

A clear view of the growth workflow most worth improving first.

A business case

The number the opportunity could influence, such as pipeline, retention, contribution margin, recovered revenue, or team capacity.

A practical first system

An initial view of what the system would monitor, decide, draft, or execute.

A measurement plan

The baseline, leading indicators, and business outcome that should determine whether the work is valuable.

A clear next step

A recommendation for whether to pursue a blueprint, a focused build, fractional CMO support, or no engagement at all.

Identify the opportunity before committing to a build.

What we may explore.

Acquisition efficiency

Where rising acquisition costs, fragmented data, or delayed decisions are affecting growth economics.

Customer retention

Where customer conversations, support activity, and lifecycle data contain signals your team cannot consistently act on.

Pipeline and follow-up

Where buying signals, dormant relationships, or account opportunities are being missed.

Marketing operations

Where reporting, research, planning, and recurring execution are consuming too much senior team capacity.

Competitive positioning

Where market changes, competitor activity, or customer needs should influence your next growth decision.

Search and AI visibility

Where your company is being misunderstood, overlooked, or left out of relevant search and AI-generated answers.

How the conversation works.

01

Bring the problem

Tell us what is becoming more expensive, slower, harder to manage, or too dependent on one person.

02

Map the opportunity

We look at the workflow, the people involved, the tools and data available, and the number the work could affect.

03

Prioritize the first move

We identify the smallest useful system that could create meaningful leverage without creating unnecessary implementation risk.

04

Decide what comes next

You leave with a clear recommendation, whether that means moving forward with NorthSignal, taking the plan internally, or waiting until the opportunity is stronger.

Book a 30-minute Growth Audit

Start with the problem. We will help determine what is worth building.

Who should book.

The Growth Audit is designed for:

  • Founders, owners, and CEOs
  • CMOs and Heads of Growth
  • Revenue and business development leaders
  • Retention and lifecycle leaders
  • Growth-stage companies with an active business motion

The strongest fit is a company with an established offer, meaningful customer or marketing activity, a measurable growth problem, and a team that needs implementation rather than another set of recommendations.

What you should bring.

You do not need a complete AI strategy.

It helps to bring:

  • The growth number you most want to improve
  • The workflow that keeps getting delayed
  • The tools or systems involved
  • A rough sense of what the problem is costing
  • The people currently responsible for the work

What happens after the audit.

If there is a strong opportunity, we can turn the findings into a Growth Blueprint covering:

  • The workflow to improve
  • The system to build
  • The data and tools required
  • The human approval points
  • The expected business impact
  • The measurement plan
  • The first production milestone

From there, the right engagement may include fractional CMO leadership, a focused custom system build, adoption support, or a combination.

If there is not a strong opportunity, we will tell you that directly.

The system stays with you.

NorthSignal builds systems inside your accounts and around your workflows.

You own the code, credentials, documentation, models, customer memory, and operating knowledge created through the engagement.

The goal is useful leverage, not permanent dependence on a vendor.

Questions

Asked on almost every call.

How does pricing work?

Every engagement is scoped and priced after the Growth Audit. Discovery and Blueprint is a standalone deliverable, so you can take the plan and go. Build engagements are scoped per module against modeled ROI. We share the math up front before you commit to anything.

What exactly do I get at the end of a build?

A working agent running on your accounts, plus the full handoff. The repository, every credential and API key in your name, plain-language documentation, and training so your team runs it without us.

Who owns the agent and the data?

You do, outright. The code, the credentials, the documentation, and everything the agent learns about your customers stay with your business. If we part ways, the agent keeps working and stays yours.

How long does a build take?

Weeks, not quarters. The scope is set on the Growth Audit. The first working loop usually ships early so you see the agent running before the build is finished.

Next step

Start with the growth problem that keeps getting delayed.
